Freeport Folio, a poetry initiative by Freeport residents John Egan and Jonas Werner, creates space for poets of all backgrounds to share their work and connect through the power of language.

Spoken word can be raw, funny, intense or healing. We don’t pre-screen open mic performances. We simply ask everyone to bring kindness, curiosity and care into the room.
